Funeralcare regional manager clocks up 20 years’ service

Dunfermline-based Andrew Beveridge recently celebrated 20 years of service with the Co-operative Funeralcare.

The regional manager began his career with the Co-operative at one its food stores in 1980. After a spell in the Army, which involved active service during the Falklands war, Andrew drove buses before deciding on a career in the funeral profession in 1993.

He joined the funeral home in Kirkcaldy as a trainee funeral director before he was promoted to funeral home manager. Beveridge progressed quickly and by 2000 had been appointed to the east of Scotland regional manager position.
