Funeralcare appoints new senior manager
The Co-operative Funeralcare has announced Natalie Lawler as its regional manager for Merseyside.
Forty-four-year-old Natalie will be responsible for the 23 funeral homes in the region, after previously managing for the group in Southport.
Natalie began her career in the funeral profession in 1995 as a receptionist at the Co-operative Funeralcare in Southport. Four years later she moved to MJ Brookfields as a funeral director, where she was promoted to manager of the home in 2003. Natalie was appointed manager for all five Southport homes in 2010, a position she held up until her latest appointment.
Natalie holds the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) Diploma in Funeral Directing, along with qualifications in bereavement counselling.
Sector operations manager (West) Bobby Hopkin-Hoggarth, to whom Natalie will report, said of the appointment: “I am delighted to have appointed Natalie to this role. Her experience, knowledge and professionalism will help take Funeralcare forward.”
