D B Devall welcomes fourth generation family member into the business

Warwickshire-based funeral director D B Devall has welcomed the fourth generation of its family into the business.

Joshua Beebe, the 16-year-old nephew of company founder David Devall, has been recruited to work at the business on a part-time basis.

Alongside studying Public Services at North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, Joshua will learn about all aspects of funeral operations and assist with the monumental masonry side of the business.

D B Devall’s four directors – husband and wife David and Stephanie Devall, their son Daniel and his cousin Jonathan Bambury – have a combined experience of over 100 years in the funeral industry and are all very much looking forward to welcoming Joshua to the team.

David Devall commented: “We have a reputation for providing young people with a route into employment so we’re pleased to welcome Joshua into the family business. “He’s a really bright individual with a lot to offer and we look forward to building his expertise and knowledge in the next two years, and to supporting his development in the future.”
