Jennifer Ashe and Son has experienced a surge in the number of families seeking ways to make funerals more reflective of the departed’s personality. 

It comes after SunLife’s Cost of Dying report has already outlined that half of those surveyed described a funeral as a ‘celebration of life’ compared with 28% who see it as a ‘traditional ceremony’. 

As a result, the West Midlands-based company has diversified its offering to “show just how unique funeral services can be”.

From colourful coffins to unique flower arrangements, the team across Jennifer Ashe and son’s five branches in Willenhall, Brownhills, Hednesford, Lichfield and Walsall has been asked about more unique services. 

Jennifer Ashe and Son has seen an uptick in enquiries for custom coffins and urns; special transportation (such as a motorcycle or a Land Rover); themed funerals based on the deceased’s hobbies and interests; unique flower arrangements; personalised memorial services; visual displays of photographs and mementos; and customisable keepsakes.
