Funeral director rant goes viral
A funeral director who took to social media to share his disgust about Ian Brady has gone viral.
Michael Fogg, of Michael Fogg Family Funeral Directors, took to Facebook to tell followers about his upset about Moors murderer Ian Brady’s funeral.
The rant included some explicit language.
He stated: “Just when you lose faith in human nature something happens to restore it. I heard on the news the coroner gave the police until 2.30 tomorrow to find a funeral director to take on the disposal of the Brady scum’s body.
“I say good luck to them and ask people to share this post in the hope that it gets back to those folks and show them the country is behind them.”
“That filth never gave those poor kids a funeral on Saddleworth Moor, so **** him and a funeral.”
The post has been shared over 15,000 times.
“All deaths require the proper disposal of the deceased person, in accordance with the law, and funeral directors there to assist in ensuring this happens, professionally, without making any judgement about the individuals concerned.
“However, it is up to each funeral director to decide whether they are able to take on any particular funeral, considering issues such as whether doing so might compromise their ability to look after other families already in their care and whether they would be able to meet any specific requirements that may be needed.”
