Chester Pearce Funeral Service opens new premises
Chester Pearce Funeral Service is celebrating opening the doors to its new premises in The Neighbourhood Centre, Canford Heath. The successful family-run business, which already has a funeral home in Westbourne, recently celebrated its fifth birthday.
Owner, Stephen Nimmo, said: “We are thrilled with our company’s expansion and our new premises which are perfectly located in the heart of Canford Heath. In the last five years Chester Pearce Funeral Service has grown year on year with a significant increase in the families that we have been asked to support.
“We saw a real need for a quality funeral service provider in the Canford Heath area and as locals to that area too it seemed like an excellent choice for our tight-knit family business.”
Stephen continued, “We aim to provide a real community service to the area and do what we do best at Chester Pearce which is offering an excellent quality, totally personalised service to our families.
“Funeral poverty is very much in the news and at Chester Pearce we also offer assistance to families on lower incomes and on benefits with a scheme that we call Funeral Assist. We’ve worked hard to become as knowledgeable as possible about government support and we can adapt our service to help people.”
The new funeral home has been created to ensure families are comfortable in the environment, and those who have died are properly cared for.
Stephen is passionate about continuity of care. “It is vital that everyone feels supported during a time of great stress, and we work hard to provide support to those who have died, their loved ones, and even the professionals who have cared for them.”
