T Cribb & Sons launch bereavement social group
T Cribb & Sons has launched its latest bereavement social group in conjunction with Pitsea Activity Centre called ‘Helping Hands’.
This group will meet in the Pitsea Activity Centre, Northlands Pavement, Pitsea on the first Tuesday of each month from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm and is open to anyone who has been bereaved in the Pitsea area.
The group is also supported by the St Luke’s Hospice Dove Community Counselling Service and Basildon Council.
T Cribb & Sons do not intend to provide one-to-one counselling sessions, although counsellors from St Luke’s Doves will be available, but will provide a way for those who have been bereaved to re-integrate and learn to socialise in a safe and supported environment on a regular basis.
The organisers, Jayne Phillips and Sue Jansen, will be on hand each week to support and guide those attending the meeting and will also be arranging outings and activities for the group.
