BRM Law’s Will writing services raise £13k for Blythe House Hospice
During the Will Month, BRM’s clients were offered the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to the charity – with a suggestion of £75 per person

Law firm BRM has revealed that its Will Month campaign has raised exactly £13,135 for North Derbyshire’s Blythe House Hospice.
The charity in Chapel-en-le-Frith, which provides care for those with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones, has been supported by the legal firm’s Will writing campaigns since 2017.
In total, Blythe House has now received over £68k in donations.
During the Will Month, BRM’s clients were offered the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to the charity – with a suggestion of £75 per person – in exchange for professional Will writing services.
The funds help support the charity’s vital services, which are reliant on donations to operate, such as their 24/7 Hospice at Home and Roaming Car services, their Community Hub, therapies, and counselling and bereavement support.
Emily Passey, corporate fundraiser at Blythe House Hospice, said: “We are incredibly grateful to BRM for their unwavering support and dedication over the past seven years during Wills Month. Raising £68,000 in that time is an outstanding achievement, and has had a profound impact on our ability to provide compassionate care and essential services.
“The generosity of both the firm and their clients has made a real difference, and we cannot thank them enough for helping us continue to be there for those who need us most.”
Rob Woodhead, executive director of Wills and probate at BRM, added: “Blythe House Hospice is a charity close to the hearts of everyone at BRM, providing vital services for people with life-limiting illnesses and support for their families. We are proud of the work we do every year in support of Blythe House and we’re delighted with the amount raised for the charity in our latest Will Month campaign.
“We would like to thank our clients for their generous donations and would encourage others thinking of putting a Will in place to consider our next campaign, which will take place in July. Writing a Will is an important step to ensure your affairs are in order and your loved ones provided for. By choosing BRM’s Will Month, you can be sure you are getting a professional Will and your donation is going to a worthy cause.”
