WH Putnam raises £8k for Motor Neurone Disease Association

WH Putnam Funeral Directors has hit £8k raised for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, after raising £1,500 at a special event at the charity’s North London branch.
The funeral provider, which has branches in Harrow and Edgware, raised the funds in honour of Jerry Bentley, the hub manager for WH Putnam and other Funeral Partners brands in East London, who is battling motor neurone disease.
Senior funeral director, Lee Dimmock, has been credited with organising the event, where supporters tried to back their winners and work out who would be first past the winning post.
Dimmock said: “It was another brilliant event, and we are delighted to have raised another £1,500. When you’re supporting a cause which is close to everyone’s hearts, it makes a real difference.
“We are always keen to back the North London branch because we know how much they directly help Jerry, and other people who are in similar positions.”
