M Rushton Funeral Directors joins Funeral Partners network

Southport-based M Rushton Funeral Directors has officially joined the Funeral Partners network.
The funeral provider was founded in 2016 by husband and wife Michael and Michelle, who both have extensive experience in the industry. Michael has been a funeral director for 40 years, while Michelle has spent 14 years working in the funeral and bereavement sector.
The couple’s decision to join Funeral Partners was driven by their desire to spend more time focussing on their two youngest children who have special needs, and to improve their work-life balance.
Funeral Partners has been helping M Rushton in areas such as compliance, operational efficiency, administration, marketing, and from an investment point of view, with the delivery of a new hearse.
Michael said: “Frankly, Funeral Partners have exceeded all our expectations – everything that was talked about when we were discussing the acquisition has come to fruition and more. I can already feel the weight which has lifted off my shoulders – I feel totally different now. I’m genuinely excited about the future of the business and proud that we will continue to be part of it.
“Regulation and compliance have become a big part of my role over the last few years, but now I’ve got people there to support me, so I can focus more on the families we care for and I get to spend more time with my children.”
