Aura Life wins ‘Compliance Team of the Year’ at 2024 ICA Awards

Aura Life was awarded the accolade for its focus on excellence, conscientiousness, hard work and the positive impact it has made within the funeral planning sector

Funeral plan provider Aura Life has revealed that its compliance team has been named the winner of the ‘SME Compliance Team of the Year’ at this year’s ICA Compliance Awards. 

The awards ceremony celebrates the achievements, collaboration and innovation of compliance and financial crime prevention teams.

A panel of independent judges, featuring influential and respected figures within the compliance and financial crime prevention community, have overseen an assessment process to identify the winners.

Aura Life was awarded the distinguished accolade, standing out amongst a “very impressive” shortlist due to its focus on excellence, conscientiousness, hard work and the positive impact it has made within the funeral planning sector.

On 27 June, over 500 guests attended the ICA Compliance Awards ceremony at the Park Plaza in Westminster, London.

Helen Hardware, head of risk and compliance at Aura Life, said: “We are so proud to have been recognised at the ICA Compliance Awards and named as the winner of the SME Compliance Team. Winning an award of this calibre means a huge amount to everyone involved in this project and area of work.
