Full Circle Funerals to open Ilkley branch
The funeral provider became aware that many people from Ilkley and the villages around it were travelling to Guiseley for their closest Full Circle branch
Independent funeral service provider, Full Circle, will be opening a new site in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, next week.
Full Circle Funerals was first launched in Guiseley in 2016 by former NHS surgeon Dr Sarah Jones, who wanted to create a modern funeral care service that is focused on “supporting wellbeing following bereavement”.
Since the company’s launch, it has also opened branches in Bramley and Harrogate.
The latest opening in Ilkley comes as Full Circle became aware that many people from Ilkley and the villages around it were travelling to Guiseley, which was their closest funeral provider.
Jones said: “We hope this new service will make it easier for people in and around Ilkley and Burley in Wharfedale to use our support, whether they are arranging a funeral for someone else or looking for support to explore their own funeral wishes and funeral planning.
“We feel it is important to give people personalised support and to make it easy for them to arrange exactly the kind of funeral they want, depending on what is important to them or the person who has died.”
She added: “We are very much looking forward to being part of the community in Ilkley and we are grateful for the warmth we have already received from fellow businesses and local people ahead of the opening.”
In addition, Full Circle Funerals is the first UK funeral director to be recognised for its commitment to positive environmental and social impact with a B Corp Certification.
The firm was also shortlisted for a national ‘Purpose Before Profit’ award in last year’s Lloyds Better Society Awards and has been named ‘Funeral Director of the Year’ and ‘Green Funeral Director of the Year’ by the Good Funeral Guide.
