D. Lawson Funeral Directors launches in Yorkshire
David Lawson used to be the chairman of the Yorkshire division of The British Institute of Embalmers, as well as a Bereavement Befriender with over 33 years of experience within the funeral service profession
Qualified funeral director and embalmer, David Lawson, has reportedly established a new independent family-run funeral directors to care for the bereaved in Keighley, Silsden, the Aire Valley, and all other districts in the area.
It is reported that Lawson used to be the chairman of the Yorkshire division of The British Institute of Embalmers, as well as a Bereavement Befriender with over 33 years of experience within the funeral service profession.
Prior to opening his own company, Lawson worked for large funeral companies and family-owned businesses in Keighley, Bradford, Halifax and Leeds. According to him, his work experience has given him “a wealth of knowledge in bringing together the wishes of the deceased and their family, alongside the practicalities of arranging a funeral”.
In addition, Lawson is following in the footsteps of his great grandfather, W.J. Lawson, cabinet maker and undertaker of Skipton, as opening his own business as an independent funeral director has been a “great” ambition.
Lawson has reportedly chosen the forget-me-not flower as his brand logo to “represent our loved ones living on in our hearts any memories”.
Lawson said: “My mission is to facilitate ways for families to grieve their loss and celebrate the lives of their loved ones. I will do this by providing options, choices, and guidance with the highest level of competence and compassion, providing all this in an affordable and cost-effective manner and one that reflects exceptional value.
“I will strive to exceed the expectations of each family I serve, and you can be rest assured that your loved one will be loved.”
