Funeral Partners adds three news businesses to its portfolio

W. Storey was founded in 1934 and has continued to be a family run business until Ian Storey’s recent retirement

Funeral Partners has announced it has acquired W. Storey Funeral Service, Merstow Green Funeral Home and John Clark Funeral Service, expanding the group’s presence across the UK.

W. Storey was founded in 1934 and has continued to be a family run business until Ian Storey’s recent retirement. The funeral directors team who will all stay on with the business, will now be part of the extended Funeral Partners family.

Merstow Green Funeral Home has been serving the community since 2008 in Evesham, Worcestershire. The funeral home will bring in-depth bereavement support to the groups existing portfolio.

Following the addition to Funeral Partners, Phillip Tomlins, business principal will still continue to conduct funerals and act as a community ambassador, supporting the team in the day-to-day activities within the funeral home.

John Clark Funeral Service was founded in 2001, the acquisition marks the fifth business in Scotland to join the group, enabling it to expand its presence across the country.

The funeral service founder John Clark will retire leaving his sons Kevin and John Jr to take up the mantle in his place.
