Golden Leaves has become the first independent funeral plan provider to secure BSI Kitemark certification.

The BSI Customer Service Kitemark was launched in 2017 to help consumers easily identify organisations that are proven to deliver an exceptional customer service experience.

All businesses that are awarded with the certificate must adhere to the relevant British and International standards.

This comes six months after the firm was successfully shortlisted for both the UK Customer Experience Awards and SME National Business Awards.

Barry Floyd, managing director for Golden Leaves, said: “At Golden Leaves, we strive to deliver excellence as standard and feel incredibly proud that this has been recognised by our new prestigious and globally recognised BSI Kitemark for customer service.

“For decades, we have worked tirelessly to establish our reputation as the stand-out independent quality brand within our industry, and we are proudly confident that this latest certification will reinforce our reputation for the provision of quality, innovative funeral plan products to both existing and potential stakeholders.”
