Quinns Funeral Directors donates over £800 to RNLI

Wirral-based Quinns Funeral Directors has presented a donation of £877.92 to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in Hoylake.

Last week, Hoylake RNLI’s volunteer crew welcomed Lesley Quinn to their lifeboat station, where she presented the donation to mechanic Harry Jones on behalf of the former directors of the family-run business.

Jones said: ‘We would like to thank everyone at Quinns for this kind donation and for their support over many years. As a charity funded entirely by donations from the public, all of us at Hoylake RNLI really value the support of the community and local businesses that helps us continue saving lives at sea.”

Quinn said: “We have supported Hoylake RNLI for almost 50 years through holding small fundraising events in our branches and by helping our customers with their own collections in memory of their loved ones.

“We were very pleased to be able to present this donation to the lifeboat crew to help in a small way with the work they do for our local community.”
