Seeds given to green fingered pupils

Staff from Mayfields Woodland Remembrance Park on the Wirral are supporting the Royal Horticultural Society’sBritain in Bloom’ initiative by donating seeds to the green-fingered children at Heygarth Primary School’s gardening club.

Nicole Wyatt, Carl Thompson and Phil Williams from theRemembrancePark, which is operated by the Co-operative Funeralcare, hope the seeds will help the children from the Eastham school to develop their peace garden as well as their wildflower maze.

The Park has its own wildflower meadow, so the staff members are keen to promote the benefits of such developments – not only the bright and beautiful flowers but the support they provide to wildlife.
