FreeWills.co.uk to raise £60m in pledged charity donations
The website has already helped generate over £150m for charity through legacy giving, and is now ‘setting its sights on an even bigger 2025’

FreeWills.co.uk is aiming to raise £60m in pledged charity donations this year while doubling its charity partner network to 1,000 organisations.
It comes as the online platform has surpassed its goal of 500 charity partners by August 2024.
The website has already helped generate over £150m for charity through legacy giving, and is now “setting its sights on an even bigger 2025” to help more people “leave a lasting impact while securing their own futures”.
With Free Wills Month due to highlight the importance of Will-writing this coming March, the group wants to remind the public that “every day can be a Free Wills Day”.
Carl Christensen, managing director of FreeWills.co.uk, said: “While Free Wills Month is a great initiative that encourages people to think about their legacy, it remains limited to specific age groups and time periods.
“FreeWills.co.uk removes these barriers, offering an easy, cost-free way for people of all ages to write a legally binding will at any time of the year.”
Unlike Free Wills Month, which is restricted to those aged 55 and over during March and October, FreeWills.co.uk enables anyone to create a legally binding will for free, every day of the year.
