Dementia UK is Westerleigh Group’s corporate charity partner and throughout the year, and over a two-year-period, Westerleigh has a target of raising £300k.

Lisa Johnson, manager of Wessex Vale Crematorium, said: “During the evening, funeral professionals showcased their knowledge against a wide range of questions in the quiz, which was hosted by our very own Jemma Andrews. Alongside the quiz, a raffle was drawn, which had been open to the public.

“I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all those who attended and contributed to the success of both the quiz and the raffle. The money raised will hopefully go a small way in contributing to the valuable work of Dementia UK in supporting those affected by Dementia.”

She added: “Congratulations to the winners of the quiz night, ‘6 Man Curry’, who were crowned overall champions and awarded with a trophy for their efforts.”
