Wilcox to unveil new fleet at National Funeral Exhibition

Wilcox Limousines is set to unveil its fleet of new vehicles at this year’s National Funeral Exhibition, with a fleet that includes a new Bentley hearse and an all-electric Nissan hearse. With the event taking place at Warwickshire’s Stoneleigh Park from 10 June to 12 June, Wilcox Limousines will be travelling down to the annual exhibition from its Wigan factory with a selection of specially crafted vehicles that “represent the very best in the industry”. As well as the Bentley and all-electric Nissan, Wilcox will be looking to showcase its fleet that will also include a Mercedes hearse and limo, with other classic Wilcox conversions also in attendance and on display outside their allocated stands, 150 & 259. The Bentley vehicles have been made using “intuitive storage areas, soft leathers, veneers, and up-to-the-minute technology will make the vehicles memorable for many years”. Using lightweight materials such as carbon fibre, Wilcox’s electric vehicle is based on the chassis of the Nissan Leaf Tekna, and “heralds a new era of automotive thinking for the funeral vehicles of today and the future”. Jade Wilcox, managing director of Wilcox Limousines, said: “We are really looking forward to this year’s National Funeral Exhibition as not only do we get to mix with some of the best talents in the industry, but we also get to showcase the new vehicles our team have worked so hard to produce. “We anticipate that our new Bentley hearse and limo will turn some heads this year, due to their opulent design and eye-catching features, however, we also hope the new electric Nissan will prove popular, as it really represents a step in the right direction for the environmental endeavours of the funeral service industry.” She added: “With last year’s exhibition postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I think I speak on behalf of the whole industry by saying this is going to be a real highlight of the year. “Events like this are essential in our world, not just because of the exposure to potential clients, but also to showcase just how diverse and forward thinking we are as a collective.
